USF Electrical Engineering Now Hiring
Preferred candidates should have completed or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Qualified candidates should have demonstrated excellence in scholarly research and publications, a strong potential for sustaining an externally funded research program, and a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
Successful applicants are expected to conduct research and teach in areas across the electrical engineering discipline with a preference on the following areas: 1) next-generation wireless communication systems including but not limited to 6G wireless or quantum communications, with a particular focus on the innovative hardware/software implementation and emerging technology in machine learning and artificial intelligence,
quantum photonics for communications, sensing, and computing. 2) Analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and photonic IC design including but not limited to emerging areas such as quantum computing and integrated circuits for 2D/3D integration.
