ChE’s Professors You Yeon-Won and Xiaoping Bao are dedicated to advancing cancer treatment options for various cancer types.

For over 15 years, Professor You Yeon-Won has been at the forefront of cancer research, particularly in enhancing treatments for locally advanced head and neck tumors using nanoparticles such as polymer lipids. His work aims to optimize drug delivery while minimizing the exposure of the drug to other tissues within the body. This type of treatment offers more precision and control than traditional chemotherapy, with broad potential across different cancer types.
