Karissa Raderstorf Wins Purdue Mortar Board Rose Award

Karissa Raderstorf, Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies, has been honored with the Purdue Mortar Board Rose Award.

Karissa Raderstorf, Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies, has been honored with the Purdue Mortar Board Rose Award. This prestigious accolade, presented by the Purdue Mortar Board, recognizes outstanding contributions by clerical and service staff members. Recipients of the Rose Award are nominated by individuals familiar with their exemplary work ethic, which extends beyond the call of duty, significantly enriching the Purdue community.

Raderstorf's nomination came from Rithika Athreya, a recent graduate of the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering and former president of Purdue AIChE. 

"Karissa’s impact on the atmosphere of the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University is positive and far-reaching,” commented Athreya. “Through her genuine care and personalized support for every student, she fosters a sense of belonging within the entire department."

This recent recognition adds to Raderstorf's list of achievements, including the 2015 Administrative Professional Customer Service Staff Awards of Excellence from the Purdue College of Engineering.
