Doraiswami Ramkrishna, the Harry Creighton Peffer Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering, has been honored with a special issue of the research journal Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Research.

The journal published a “Festschrift,” a collection of research papers, in the Oct. 28, 2015 issue. This honor recognizes Prof. Ramkrishna’s contributions to the application and teaching of mathematics in chemical engineering.

The special issue includes a preface written by Arvind Varma, the R. Games Slayter Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering and Jay and Cynthia Ihlenfeld Head of Chemical Engineering and G. D. Yadav of ICT, Mumbai.

The I&EC journal publishes five to eight Festschrifts annually. The issue is available online at http://pubs.acs.org/toc/iecred/54/42
