Dr. James Caruthers, the Gerald and Sarah Skidmore Professor in Chemical Engineering, has been named a fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) for substantial and innovative advancements in the physics and nonlinear mechanics of glassy polymer.

Election as an APS Fellow is a major recognition of accomplishment from the leading organization of physicists and signifies recognition by professional peers.
