Dr. Caruthers Named APS Fellow

Dr. James Caruthers has been named a fellow of the American Physical Society

Dr. James Caruthers, the Gerald and Sarah Skidmore Professor in Chemical Engineering, has been named a fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) for substantial and innovative advancements in the physics and nonlinear mechanics of glassy polymer.

Election as an APS Fellow is a major recognition of accomplishment from the leading organization of physicists and signifies recognition by professional peers. Fellows are selected based on exceptional contributions to the physics enterprise through research, important applications of physics, leadership in or service to physics, or significant contributions to physics education.
