Other Information

James is the managing director of the Purdue UAS Research and Test Facility (PURT), a study area for unmanned aerial systems. These include drone control technologies like navigation and autonomy. PURT is the largest motion capture facility in the world, with precision placement of camera targets down to the millimeter.

James is also a lecturer in Aeronautics and Astronautics
