Mr. Raisbeck has devoted his career to the application of aerodynamic research to transport and private aircraft. Through his leadership and understanding of the modern aerodynamics of wings and high-lift technology, the firms he led or founded have succeeded in making it economical to replace existing wings with his innovative designs to markedly improve the safety and efficiency of a wide variety of general aviation aircraft.
