Abstract:
The Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program is a critical asset to our national security and maritime dominance. There are many programs available to undergraduate and graduate students that provide a range of unbeatable benefits. These benefits include up to 30 months of full tuition coverage on top of being paid a salary, free health care, active duty military benefits, a guaranteed job after college and much more. If you qualify for our program you can become a Nuclear Trained Officer on a nuclear-powered submarine or aircraft carrier where you will learn to lead highly qualified Sailors while applying your technical knowledge in a challenging and hands on engineering role. You can play a supporting role as an instructor of the Navy's Nuclear Power School or get a hands-on experience as an instructor and operator of a live nuclear reactor at the Navy's Nuclear Prototype School. Finally, you can put your engineering skills to the test on a research, development and design capacity as a Naval Reactors Engineer to further our mission of operating safe, efficient and powerful nuclear reactors.
