The Research Symposium Series is a department-sponsored forum for graduate students and advanced-level undergraduates to present their research to a general audience.

The 2018 winners are:

First Place Award - Ashwati Das (Topic: Rapid Trajectory Design in Complex Environments via Machine Learning Strategies)

Second Place Award - Kshitij Mall (Topic: Advancing Optimal Control Theory for Solving Complex Aerospace Problems)

Third Place Award - Arnau Pons (Topic: Study of the Effects of Unsteady Heat Release in Combustion Instability)

Best Undergraduate Presentation Award - Sai Mudumba (Topic: Variable Geometry Wing-Tip Devices)
