Vinayak is  a PhD student in the School of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette since Spring 2011.He is currently works at the Computational Design and Innovation Lab. He received his M.Sc. (Engineering) in Spring 2010 at the Center for Product Design and Manufacturing, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. His current research deals with 3D shape modeling using natural user interfaces. His general areas of interest are computational geometry, algebraic (particularly spectral) graph theory, computer vision, and human computer interaction.
