Congratulations on your decision to pursue a degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering Studies (IDES) or Multidisciplinary Engineering (MDE). While our program is smaller in size when compared to other options, you will still have access to the same world-class Purdue facilities, accomplished and experienced professors, and career developing opportunities, including those through the Career Center (internships and co-op work experiences), or even study abroad, involvement in Bands/PMO, or a full range of student led clubs and organizations.
The advising and leadership team of IDES and MDE is here to work collaboratively with you in schedule planning and helping you meet your educational objectives. Because of the uniqueness of our programs, IDES and MDE are considered advising intensive programs. As such, every IDES and MDE student is expected to meet with their advisor at least once per semester to ensure they are on track and meeting all program outcomes and degree requirements.
IDES and MDE Advising Schedule Times
ARMS 1337A Advising Office is open 12:30 -5:00 daily. There are no unscheduled walk-in times.
