Natasha Elise Bilka began working for ECN in the Student Web Pool during the spring of 2004, after she found out about the job from a posting by former student employee, Jesse Janowiak. Natasha graduated in May of 2005 with a degree in Computer Graphics Technology, but has remained in the Web Pool since that time.

Natasha has completed many different projects for ECN and other Purdue Engineering Schools. The list includes the ECN Coloring Book, Redesign of the Purdue Pete section of the ECN site, a Wall of Fame composite for ECE hallway, the research section of the College of Engineering website, icons for the ECN website, redesign of the UVAC website, and the creation of the Armstrong Hall website. She has also written many staff bios and newsletter articles.
Most recently, Natasha has worked on porting the School of Industrial Engineering and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering websites to the new College of Engineering wrap. Her work as been very valuable to these schools because they were able to get their sites done quickly and relatively cheap, because they didn‘t have to hire any new employees or train anyone on using Zope.
Natasha says she has "gained experience working with different technologies and working in different fields and environments." She also says that she has enjoyed her job at ECN because "it‘s on campus and I‘m also able to work from home." Her favorite project, she says, was the ECN coloring book because she had total creative freedom while doing it.
Natasha is leaving ECN at the end of July and hopes to pursue a career using her graphics design skills. She says she would like to "branch out beyond the web" and perhaps design album cover art.
