Apeksha Kumavat is the Co-founder and Chief Engineer at Gatik, the market leader in autonomous middle mile logistics. The company delivers goods safely and efficiently using its fleet of light and medium-duty trucks, focusing on short-haul, B2B logistics for Fortune 500 companies such as Walmart, Kroger, Loblaw, Pitney Bowes, Tyson Foods, etc.
Apeksha has earned notable recognition, including being featured on the esteemed Inc. 2022 Female Founders 100 List and securing a spot on the prestigious Silicon Valley Business Journal 40 Under 40 list. These accolades celebrate her technical leadership and entrepreneurial prowess. Additionally, she has been honored as a standout talent in the automotive industry, being named to the exclusive 2022 Automotive News Rising Stars list for her instrumental role in spearheading the development of Gatik's autonomous technology for driverless commercial operations.
Prior to co-founding Gatik, Apeksha led software and systems teams at other robotics and AV companies. She earned her Masters in ECE from Purdue University and has made significant research contributions in the areas of machine learning, data science, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
