Distinguished Professor of the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering, recently delivered the Rockwell Lecture titled, "Deliberate Innovation and Public-Private Partnerships: Excellence in Translational Research at Land Grant Universities."

Stephen Beaudoin, professor of chemical engineering at the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering and Director of the Purdue Energetics Research Center (PERC), has been elected to join the American Institute
of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Board of Directors.

Montgomery Laky, a fifth-year chemical engineering doctoral candidate at Purdue University, has been honored with two prestigious awards: the MIT Chemical Engineering Rising Star and the 2024 AIChE Separations Division Graduate Student Research Award for Crystallization & Evaporation.

Esin Aydemir, a graduate student at the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering, received third place in the research award session, "AIChE Inorganic Materials Graduate Student Award," sponsored by Chevron.
