Chemical Engineering undergraduate team wins 3rd place in national competition!
In its very first year of being formed, BoilerCube, a Chemical Engineering club of undergraduate students, sent a team to compete at the AIChE Annual Meeting in Boston where they were awarded 3rd place overall as well as best entrepreneurship award with their design to remove CO2 from air.
In its very first year of being formed, BoilerCube, a Chemical Engineering club of undergraduate students, sent a team to compete at the AIChE Annual Meeting in Boston where they were awarded 3rd place overall as well as best entrepreneurship award with their design to remove CO2 from air. The cube, built with a desiccant wheel and zeolite 13X, successfully maintained the CO outlet concentration near 0 ppm throughout the entire test!
