The collaboration seeks to attract sports tech companies to the city to drive industry innovation in Indiana

The Duncan and Suzanne Mellichamp Lectureship was established in 2013 to recognize the work of a distinguished young researcher in any area related to the field of chemical engineering. The recipient is selected by the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering faculty in recognition of his or her contributions to research and education. Ruth Misener is the 2024 Mellichamp Lecturer.

Chemical engineering undergrad student Ramon Pardo is making his mark on the West Lafayette campus and inspiring engineering creativity in a unique way: an almost 200-pound, 6.5 feet long on-campus locomotive.

The 38x38 award celebrates the remarkable achievements of 38 Purdue Engineering alumni who are 38 years old or younger who have demonstrated a clearly accelerated trajectory of professional success, achievements, and impact.

Mehrnoosh Afshang, a Ph.D. student in the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University, was awarded 3rd place in the Best Student Poster Award competition at the Society of Rheology's Annual Meeting.
