Construction Engineering Outstanding and Emerging Leader Alumni Awards

Purdue Construction Engineering is recognized for the quality of its graduates. They receive great experiences during their education and move into industry to develop essential infrastructure. Examples include sustainable energy, tunneling, highway, and large athletic venues. Purdue construction engineers have been instrumental in the successful delivery of projects in North American and throughout the world.

There are some graduates of our program who have had truly outstanding careers leading companies and the industry forward with unique projects and technological developments. Criteria for recognition by our outstanding alumni award include excellence in industry, governmental service, or other endeavors reflecting the value of a construction engineering degree. They have a sustained record of leadership, endeavor, and accomplishments demonstrating this excellence.

The Construction Engineering Outstanding Alumni Award, and the Emerging Leader Alumni Award, affirm our commitment to be the nation’s number one program for construction engineering and producing graduates who are highly sought after and leaders in the built environment. These awards also underscore our strong commitment to nurturing graduates who are not only leaders in their fields but who continue to give back and contribute to the ongoing success and evolution of the curriculum-based experiential learning curricula.
