Jeff Hagerman (BSCNE 1993), Chairman of The Hagerman Group, has received the 2024 Construction Engineering Outstanding Alumni Award.

Jeff is the fourth generation to lead The Hagerman Group, a construction solutions provider with locations in Indiana and Kentucky, and a company who has proudly sponsored Purdue’s CEM program for 40 years. “Many of Hagerman’s employees graduate from Purdue University and we are grateful for their impact on our team. Purdue University enriches our workforce and fosters our culture of safety, excellence, and innovation,” stated Hagerman.

After serving as president of The Hagerman Group since 2008, Jeff assumed the chairman role in January 2014. He focuses on new business development, client relationships, corporate citizenship, and corporate strategic planning. Jeff is also a partner in iPark, LLC (a parking management company) and numerous commercial real estate developments.

Jeff is passionate about the community and encourages employees of The Hagerman Group to give back through time, talent, and treasure. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at several organizations including the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce, AGC of Indiana, and the Sycamore School. He is also a proud member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO Gold) and Chief Executives Organization (CEO). Some of Jeff’s former commitments included serving as a Godparent for the St. Mary's Childcare Center, and serving on the Board of Directors for Conner Prairie, Brebeuf Jesuit College Preparatory School, and the Indiana Construction Roundtable. He also served as a member of the CEM Advisory Board for Purdue University, a member of the United Way Early Childhood Education Committee and Committee Chair for the United Way Capital Campaign, and a Trustee for the Indiana Carpenters Pension Fund.

Incredibly important to Jeff is spending time with his family and friends, traveling the world, and following Purdue sports. Jeff is honored to receive recognition as an Outstanding CEM Alumni and is thankful for the program that bridges a gap between academia and industry by providing students with hands-on experience in the world of construction.
