It's once again the time of year when US News & World Report releases their annual rankings of undergraduate engineering programs.

I am extremely pleased to congratulate my Purdue ABE colleagues!  For the 9th consecutive year, our program is ranked #1. This is a testament to the sustained and substantial commitment to excellence by our alumni, students, staff and faculty. It is truly an outstanding thing to have the dedication and effort of everyone to be recognized by our peers as it is in the rankings released today.

More on undergraduate engineering rankings including biological/agricultural engineering programs can be found at https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/rankings/engineering

Last spring our graduate program was also ranked #1 by US News & World Report and has been in that spot for 11 of the past 12 years.

We are making outstanding progress in providing a building and facilities of the quality and quantity that a program like ours needs to continue to thrive.  Check out the latest updates on our new building at https://engineering.purdue.edu/ABE/aboutus/newbuildingforABE. We recently “topped off” to celebrate the construction reaching the highest point, and the construction efforts are on pace for us to welcome people to visit ABE in our new home early in 2021.

Purdue ABE has a bright future and thank you for being an important part of that future!
