AAE faculty honored as 'Outstanding Engineering Teachers' by College of Engineering

AAE had 12 representatives on the College of Engineering’s list of “Outstanding Engineering Teachers.”
The selective list included faculty, lecturers and other staff who received teaching evaluation scores of 4.6 or higher (on a 5.0 scale) in undergraduate or graduate Engineering classes with enrollments of at least 10 and a 50 percent or higher response rate. The list was based on student evaluations from courses taught in Engineering in Fall 2020.
Professors Gregory Blaisdell, William Crossley, Kathleen Howell, Robert Lucht, Karen Marais, Jonathan Poggie, Timothee Pourpoint, Michael Sangid and Tyler Tallman were joined on the list by lecturer Waterloo Tsutsui and the teaching team of visiting assistant professor Justin Mansell and research scientist Cesare Guariniello.
“Our school has so many faculty dedicated to providing our students with a great learning experience in our courses," said Crossley, J. William Uhrig and Anastasia Vournas Head of Aeronautics and Astronautics. "In the face of the challenges from COVID-19, it is great to see that our students recognized 12 of us in their evaluations of our teaching.”
