Students in AAE 450: Senior Spacecraft Design presented their senior design project on April 17 to Andy Aldrin, the son of Buzz Aldrin.

The Future Mars team worked toward the goal of creating a self-sufficient colony on Mars that sticks to a strict set of criteria.

Andy Aldrin posed questions to the students to encourage deeper thinking and discussion about space missions.

The class was taught by AAE Professor James Longuski and EAPS Assistant Professor David Minton.
