Dr. Karen Marais

Congratulations to AAE Prof. Karen Marais, who received an Incubator Award from the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC).

More than 30 proposals were submitted, which were narrowed down to 7 Incubator Projects, with only 4 of those chosen for full research awards -- including the proposal submitted by Prof. Marais.

Her proposal focused on data science approaches to prevent failures in systems engineering.
