AAE PhD student Samantha Alberts has received a national award for her accomplishments in STEM research and academics.

Alberts, who performs research in the areas of aerodynamics and propulsion, was honored with a Women’s STEM Student Achievement Award by the NXP Foundation. The Foundation is a nonprofit organization that is advancing STEM education.

Alberts and the other award winners were recognized for their accomplishments and their visions for using STEM to have an impactful, positive change in the world or to solve one of the world’s greatest challenges.
