AAE held its 3rd annual Graduate Research Symposium on September 27, 2016 in the Hall for Discovery and Learning Research on the Purdue campus. All PhD students who will graduate in 2016-2017 presented talks on their dissertation research, and nearly three dozen MS students presented posters on their thesis research. The symposium showcased AAE’s latest research in aerodynamics, aerospace systems, astrodynamics and space applications, dynamics and control, propulsion, and structures and materials. The event was held in conjunction with the Fall meeting of AAE’s Industrial Advisory Council (IAC), and the winners of the poster sessions and oral presentations were chosen by IAC members. Each winner received a certificate and a check for $400.
