A School of Aeronautics and Astronautics team has received an award for best student poster at the 16^th Annual Purdue CERIAS (Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security) Information Security Symposium. The team was led by Cesare Guariniello, Ph.D. candidate; co-authors include Ph.D. candidates Zhemei Fang and Payuna Uday. Cesare and Zhemei are students of Dr. Dan DeLaurentis and Payuna is a student of Dr. Karen Marais.

The student research is part of a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) housed at Stevens Institute: http://www.sercuarc.org/

The poster entitled “Increasing robustness and resilience: assessing disruptions and dependencies in analysis of System-of-System alternatives” is the result of research to develop and test methods that quantify the impact of system interdependencies and other architecture features in the context of SoS capability development.
