Student research team receives best student poster award at 16th Annual CERIAS symposium

A School of Aeronautics and Astronautics team has received an award for best student poster at the 16th Annual Purdue CERIAS (Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security) Information Security Symposium. The team was led by Cesare Guariniello, Ph.D. candidate; co-authors include Ph.D. candidates Zhemei Fang and Payuna Uday. Cesare and Zhemei are students of Dr. Dan DeLaurentis and Payuna is a student of Dr. Karen Marais.

The student research is part of a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) housed at Stevens Institute: http://www.sercuarc.org/

The poster entitled “Increasing robustness and resilience: assessing disruptions and dependencies in analysis of System-of-System alternatives” is the result of research to develop and test methods that quantify the impact of system interdependencies and other architecture features in the context of SoS capability development.
