School of Aeronautics and Astronautics graduate student Scott Yantek has received the Arvin-Calspan Fellowship. Yantek is an M.S. student, studying with Professor Inseok Hwang in the research areas of UAS Security Analysis and Unmanned Vehicles.
The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics has announced the 2015 recipients of the Rogers Award. This year's recipients are Stephen Whitnah and Emily Zimovan.
NASA's Flight Opportunities Program has selected seven space technology payloads for flights on commercial, parabolic or suborbital launch vehicles to demonstrate new space technologies. Dr. Steven Collicott, School of AAE, had two payloads chosen for flight on parabolic aircraft.

School of Aeronautics and Astronautics Ph.D. student Israel Sebastiao was awarded the Dr. Thomas Jennings Award for best poster at the International Society of Lyophilization/Freeze-Drying Conference on Chicago on April 9, 2015.
Incoming School of Aeronautics and Astronautics graduate student Imad Hanhan has been awarded the National Science Fellowship graduate research fellowship. The fellowships are highly competitive and recognize outstanding graduate student and their demonstrated potential "for significant achievements in science and engineering."
