The Space Exploration Social Hour is designed to bring together researchers, students, and professionals from the many space‑focused disciplines across Purdue, ranging from engineering and planetary science to AI, aerospace, and policy, to spark conversation, build relationships, and catalyze new collaborations. The goal is to strengthen Purdue’s long‑standing leadership in space exploration through this relaxed, cross‑disciplinary forum, from sending more astronauts to space than any other university to advancing cutting‑edge science and technology that shapes NASA missions and commercial spaceflight. This gathering reinforces Purdue’s culture of innovation and teamwork and helps position the university to lead future space exploration across disciplines ranging from science to engineering.
