SNE Awards:
· Early-career Graduate Research Award:
o Based on research accomplishments (such as peer-reviewed journal publications/presentations & awards).
o Eligibility: Within the first two and three years of the graduate program for MS and PhD, respectively
o GPA: Above 3.5.
o Nominated by the advising faculty
o Reviewed/Recommended by GC; Head selects
o Monetary award of $750 (discretionary).
o Anticipated # of awards: 1
· Nuclear Engineering Graduate Research Award:
o Based on research accomplishments (such as peer-reviewed journal publications/presentations & awards)
o Eligibility: Must be enrolled into PhD program and have passed preliminary exam.
o GPA: Above 3.5.
o Nominated by the advising faculty
o Reviewed/Recommended by GC; Head selects
o Monetary award of $ 750 (discretionary).
o Anticipated # of awards: 1
· NE Graduate Research Recognition Seminar:
o Must have presented in more than one reputable technical conferences. Must have passed preliminary exam. Preference will be given to applicants with the record of good citizenship.
o Nominated by the advising faculty.
o Head solicits & selects.
o No monetary award.
o Anticipated # of awards: 1 per semester
