The INSPIRE Research Institute at Purdue University, in collaboration with the Women in Engineering Program, and through the support of the SCALE K-12 project funded by the Department of Defense is hosting (3) one-week engineering summer camp experiences for children entering grades 1-9 in Fall 2026.

School of Engineering Education professor Dr. Morgan Hynes has developed a unique engineering experience to be engaging and exciting for your children. Each week will engage campers in a variety of engineering  activities where campers will explore engineering concepts while creating and building with laser cutters, computer programming, microelectronics, and more.

A typical day includes an introduction to engineering concepts, hands-on engineering activities, bonus activities (e.g., engineering lab tour, play at the park, campus tour), lunch, and fun team-bonding activities.
