Program News

Design Storm - Jan 20th

Design Storm, a one-day design competition to help address urgent and unique needs on islands affected by the recent hurricanes. This competition, open to all Purdue students, will challenge teams of up to 5 students to create concepts and prototypes for cooking, pumping water, storing food and medicine, and providing communications in the wake of a major natural disaster. These concepts will be further developed throughout the semester by the new Natural Disaster Preparedness EPICS team. PDHs will be awarded to all participating EPICS students and prizes will be award to the best designs in several categories. Sponsored by Autodesk and supported by EPICS and the Purdue 3D Print Club.
