Student Community

With the passion and persistence of Interdisciplinary Engineering Studies (IDES) and Multidisciplinary Engineering (MDE) students, we once again have a university-recognized society named Multidisciplinary Engineering Student Society effective November 13, 2017.

This community of students strives to give the growing MDE/IDES student population a place to call home. United, they aim to provide professional networking opportunities, service opportunities, and social outreach events for their members.

Anyone within in the MDE/IDES degree program may join the organization following a submission form. Freshmen that are undecided or already declared for MDE/IDES may also join the organization.

Officers:
Eric Swanson, President

2017 Homecoming

MDE and IDES students helped work at the 2017 Homecoming Event hosted by the College of Engineering. The School of Engineering Education tent welcomed back alumni and greeted families interested in learning more about our plans of study. It was a great networking opportunity and a way to share stories about their experiences in the program.
