EEE EAC Member Angie Martin Inducted into the Purdue Office of Professional Practice Hall of Fame
The Professional Practice Hall of Fame, originally known as the Cooperative Education Hall of Fame, was established in 2010. It honors individuals who have significantly influenced Professional Practice Programs and alumni who have demonstrated exceptional excellence in their fields, serving as exemplary ambassadors of the benefits of experiential education. Nominations and approvals are conducted by the Professional Practice Advisory Council, a group of Purdue faculty members who oversee and implement Professional Practice Programs across the campus.
Angie was among the first Purdue students to complete a co-op, which led to her securing a position at Heritage Environmental Services, where she continues to work today. Upon receiving the award, Angie remarked that her co-op experience was instrumental in obtaining her job, even during economic downturns and market crashes.
The other 2024 OPP Hall of Fame inductees will be honored later this year.
Congratulations, Angie!
