On Saturday, March 28, 2015, Purdue School of Chemical Engineering hosted the 7th Women in Chemical Engineering Seminar, an event sponsored by Shell. The event brought together undergraduate students, graduate students, ChE staff and Purdue ChE alumnae for a special day of networking, sharing and discoveries.
The event started with an introductory lecture on “Women in Chemical Engineering: Setting New Trends” presented by Ms. Jennifer Weekley, Business Improvement Project Manager at Shell Exploration and Production Company, followed by panel discussions with ChE alumnae on three topics and concluded with a speed networking session. Participating alumnae also had the opportunity to have a guided tour of Forney Building.
