Graduate Student Charles Hages was awarded the "Best Poster Award" at the annual IEEE Photovoltaics Specialists Conference (PVSC) held in Tampa, FL, June 16-21, 2012. The poster title was "Device Limitations and Light-Soaking Effects in CZTSSe and CZTGeSSe." This work is based on characterization of solar cells made from earth-abundant materials.
Charles has a Bachelors degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He joined the School of Chemical Engineering in fall 2010 and is advised by Professor Rakesh Agrawal.
