Enrolling in Purdue University's Professional Master's Program (PMP) in Chemical Engineering marked a significant chapter in my professional development. My aim was to meld my background in the pharmaceutical sector with newfound management insights, and Purdue's program offered an ideal platform for this fusion. The journey through the program has been enlightening, revealing the profound impact of integrating technical expertise with leadership skills.

The program's concentration on pharmaceuticals particularly resonated with me, providing an opportunity to deepen my domain knowledge while exploring management principles. This dual focus was precisely what I sought—to enhance my understanding of pharmaceutical processes and to acquire the skills necessary for leadership and project management within the field.

Purdue's curriculum adeptly bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. By engaging with complex challenges and exploring innovative solutions within the classroom, I developed a more critical and analytical approach to problem-solving, a skill indispensable in the pharmaceutical industry. The management courses, in particular, were transformative, offering insights into the operational and strategic aspects of business that are crucial for anyone aspiring to leadership positions.

The program provides flexibility for internships. My internship with Moderna serves as a vital link to industry practices, allowing me to apply academic learning in real-world settings. This internship is not merely an exercise in application but immersive experiences that confronted me with genuine industry challenges. The skills and confidence I am gaining through my internship has been invaluable, enriching my professional competence.

Looking forward to the capstone project, I see it as a chance to use all I've learned academically  in Purdue's Professional Master's Program, but as a critical step for my career in pharmaceuticals. It's an opportunity to prove my skills in innovation and leadership. Reflecting on my time at Purdue, I'm deeply thankful for the education and growth it has given me. The program prepared me to blend my pharmaceutical passion with leadership goals, providing the tools and confidence to navigate the industry's challenges with a managerial outlook.
