Structural Engineering
Purdue’s Online Structural Engineering specialization is designed to prepare the next generation of engineers for the grand challenges of modern infrastructure. Consistently recognized as one of the best in the nation, our program offers a rigorous curriculum that bridges advanced structural theory with real-world application. Our curriculum provides deep expertise in advanced mechanics, structural dynamics, and the design of steel and reinforced/prestressed concrete structures.
Students gain mastery in the analysis and design of structures including buildings, bridges and high-rises in both static and dynamic domains, while learning from world-renowned faculty who actively shape national and international design codes and industry standards. Delivered 100% asynchronous online, this program provides working professionals the flexibility to earn the same master of science in civil engineering degree as our on-campus students without interrupting their career momentum.
As a Purdue online student, you will join a global network of "Boilermaker" engineers and gain access to an elite educational experience that is both academically challenging and immediately applicable to professional practice.
