We are pleased to announce that the Purdue University Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering has been ranked the #1 undergraduate program for the second consecutive year, thus joining the graduate program as a repeat honoree! While the grad program enjoys its 4th consecutive year at the top of the US News and World Report rankings, the undergraduate program celebrates its first consecutive #1 rankings, and we congratulate our colleagues at UIUC for joining us in that honor.

“Congratulations to Agricultural & Biological Engineering on their second consecutive #1 ranking” said Leah Jamieson, the John A. Edwardson Dean of the College of Engineering. “You are doing great things.” Jay Akridge, the Glenn W. Sample Dean of the College of Agriculture, added: “You folks are certainly building an amazing track record – it is one thing to get to the top and it is another to stay there. I look forward to working with you to make sure you occupy the same spot next year!”

This recognition is made all the more humbling by the fact that it is decided by our peer institutions, department heads, and senior faculty. We appreciate our colleagues for their confidence in our educational program.
