MRE-1 Monopropellant Thruster (TRW)

The MRE-1 is the NASA standard 5-newton thruster. As the workhorse thruster for much of TRW's spacecraft fleet, MRE-1 has successfully performed attitude control duties on the Pioneer 10 and 11 mission to the outer planets and beyond the solar system, the highly acclaimed High Energy Astronomy Observatory trio of pointing and scanning missions to observe the X-ray universe, and heavy duty FltSatCom and Tracking and Data Relay Satellite three-axis stabilized geosynchronous communications satellites - while establishing new longevity records.
