A veteran of World War II, Mr. Boyd graduated with highest distinction and was employed by the State of Missouri as an airport engineer before joining McDonnell as a technical writer. A year later he was assigned duties in the contracts division and has advanced to his present position. He has successfully directed negotiations for some of the largest firm fixed-price contracts in history. He presently has the responsibility for all contract management and negotiations, and accounting and treasury functions of the St. Louis division of the corporation.
