AnalySwift LLC, a Purdue University-affiliated commercial software provider, has received a $125,000 Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant from NASA.

Daniel Gochenaur, a junior in the AAE, won in the “Topics in Design Engineering — Design Tools and Processes I” session for a paper on “Validation of Conceptual Hypersonic Design Tool Framework Using X-15 Case Study."

Eleven School of Aeronautics and Astronautics faculty members and two lecturers were named by the College of Engineering as "Outstanding Engineering Teachers" in an ad placed in the Exponent Monday.

Master's students Emily Beckman and Ethan Plaehn were chosen for the honor by Aviation Week Network, in collaboration with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).

AAE juniors and seniors selected Professor Vikas Tomar for the W.A. Gustafson Award, presented annually to an outstanding teacher in AAE.

Marcos Flores, who earned his master's online in 2015 from the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, served his first shift on console as flight director in mid-November.

Kyle Runkle, a senior in the School of Aeronautics and Aeronautics, was active in Purdue Space Program.

Cesare Guariniello, a research scientist in AAE and an AAE alumnus, will be commander of Purdue's crew at the Mars Desert Research Station.

More than 280 faculty, including eight from AAE, were honored for years of service to Purdue during the Faculty Service Recognition Luncheon, hosted by the Office of the Provost. Honorees were those who, in 2019, have completed 10 or more years of service.
