To celebrate the anniversary of Apollo 11, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics will host a “Future of Aerospace” symposium. Teams will be presenting their visions of what space exploration will look like in the year 2069 -- 100 years after Apollo 11 -- to a panel of distinguished guests, including William Gerstenmaier, Associate Administrator for Human Explorations and Operations Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters, and Dan Dumbacher, Executive Director of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
The event will be from 3-4 p.m. in the Armstrong Hall of Engineering, B071.
Prior to the presentations, a poster session highlighting current research in AAE will be held from 2-3 p.m. in the ARMS atrium.
