Abstract
An overview of the Sikorsky X2 Technology Demonstrator high speed helicopter will be presented. It will be compared to other high speed rotary wing and compound aircraft. The Advancing Blade Concept (ABC) will be explained. A historical perspective will be given and major program milestones will be discussed, including challenges and accomplishments. A short movie of the program will also be shown.
