Request for Graders
Requirements to be a grader : Must be an AAE undergraduate or AAE graduate student in this grading term (Fall 2025) in order to apply.
Undergraduate students:
- You must have completed the course(s) for which you would like to be a grader, AND
- You must have received a final grade of an "A" (better than a "B+") in each course for which you want to grade.
(
DO NOT select courses you did not complete with a final grade of an "A"; those entries will be discarded!)
Graduate students:
- For graduate-level courses, it is strongly preferred you have taken the courses(s) for which you would like to grade;
- RA, TA, & GA positions, if you have any, will reduce the number of hours available to work as a grader, especially for international students
All students: you
must be physically located within the United States in order to be eligible due to international tax laws. Having a US bank account while being outside the US is not sufficient.
Final deadline for submitting your interest: 8 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
The grader applicant list will be distributed to AAE faculty twice: once sometime on Thursday, and then again after the survey closes. For earliest consideration, apply by 8 AM on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
If you are chosen to be a grader, a faculty member (and/or a TA for their course) will be contacting you shortly after the survey closes.
Pay rate : $18/hour
Maximum hours : 10 hours/week/course; 20 hours/week total
Please select all courses that interest you and for which you would be qualified to grade, as you may be considered for multiple possible assignments depending on faculty review.
Only complete the survey ONCE - entries after the first will be discarded; entries we cannot confirm via PUID will also be discarded. Be sure to double-check and confirm your selections, especially accuracy of your PUID, before you submit!
