Order of the Engineer Ring Ceremony

The Purdue Society of Professional Engineers will conduct the Order of the Engineer Ring Ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 6th at 2:00 pm in Stewart Center, Rm. 218.

The Purdue Society of Professional Engineers will conduct the Order of the Engineer Ring Ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 6th at 2:00 pm in Stewart Center, Rm. 218.

The ceremony is open to graduating engineering students and engineers who already have graduated, including faculty and graduate students.

Persons participating in the ceremony will receive a stainless steel ring, a certificate, and information about the history of the Order of the Engineer.  The total charge is $20 for everything. It is a one-time charge and there are no follow-on expenses or meetings.

The file "OofE Invitation" gives more information about the Order and the ceremony.  The keynote speaker will be Radm. Thomas A. Dames, P.E., Ph.D., USN Ret.

The file "OofE Registration" is provides the registration form which must be submitted by 5:30 pm on Friday, Dec. 4th.  Be sure to include your ring size on this form.

The file "Ringsizer" provides instructions on how to estimate the size of a ring for the small finger of your working hand.  After the ceremony, if a ring is not quite right, it can be exchanged for one that fits better.
