Richard is the co-founder, President and CEO of Apexon Corporation. Apexon is a global Information Technology solutions provider based in Southfield, MI, with over 4,600 worldwide employees and growing. Under Richard's leadership, Apexon is disrupting the Application Management Services (AMS) and Application Development delivery model for enterprise corporations. Prior to co-founding Apexon, Richard was the founder and CEO of Summit Health based in Novi, MI. The company was established in 2004 and became the nation's leading provider of wellness services for employees and health plans with approximately 12,000 employees. The company's rapid market share growth was attributed to the many innovations in supply-chain management and information technology developed under Richard's leadership. In 2014, Quest Diagnostics, the world's largest diagnostic laboratory, acquired Summit Health and Richard became the President of the Health & Wellness division. In 2014, Richard was awarded the Ernst & Young Regional Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Richard's distinguished 30-year career also includes successful executive leadership roles at IBM and Accenture. Richard has authored scholarly articles on Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), robotics and computer simulation. He is also a well-known author and speaker within the wellness industry. Richard earned Bachelor's of Science and Master's of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He resides in Michigan with his wife of 24 years, Julie, and their 2 sons.
