Ricardo "Rick" Echevarria (Chair)
Ricardo J. Echevarria is vice president of the Digital Enterprise Group and general manager of the Digital Office Platform Division at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for leading Intel's desktop and notebook business targeting corporate and small business clients. Before assuming his current position, Echevarria spent three years in the Sales and Marketing Group as general manager of the Enterprise Solution Sales division where he was responsible for creating business value in support of Intel as the preferred architecture and technology provider for enterprise customers. Prior to that, Echevarria spent seven years leading Intel(r) Solution Services, Intel's worldwide professional services organization, helping companies capitalize on the full value of Intel(r) Architecture through consulting focused on architecture transitions. Earlier, he spent two years as director of product marketing for Intel's Communication Products Group and as director of Internet marketing for the Enterprise Server Group. Before joining Intel in 1994, Echevarria was a software developer for IBM Corporation in Austin, TX. Echevarria holds a BSIE from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Computer Systems Management from Union College.
