In a new Purdue IE video series, “Alumni Spotlights”, U.S. Army Maj. Gen. (ret.) Robert D. Shadley talks about earning his BSIE (1965) and MSIE (1966) degrees at Purdue, and how they’ve helped him throughout his career.

Shadley is now the founder and president of Shadley Editions, author of The GAMe: Unraveling a Military Sex Scandal, and a renowned speaker and change agent. Shadley was awarded the Purdue IE "Outstanding Industrial Engineer" award in 1999, and the Purdue Engineering "Distinguished Engineering Alumnus" award in 2004.
