Goñi & colleagues receive NIH & CTSI grants

Assistant Professor Joaquin Goñi and colleagues have received grants from the NIH and the CTSI.

The National Institute of Health (NIH) awarded a four-year grant to Purdue IE Assistant Professor Joaquín Goñi (co-investigator) for a project headed by Dr. Li Shen of the Indiana University Center for Neuroimaging. Their project is entitled: “An Integrative Bioinformatics Framework for Human Brain Genomics and Connectomics”.

Goñi (co-investigator) also received a Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) grant to use new techniques in diagnosing traumatic brain injury (TBI). The two-year project is entitled “Microstructure modulated white matter connectivity for mild traumatic brain injury”.
