Marafi Research Center

The Marafi Research Center serves as an incubator for ReThink IE initiatives in the areas of cognition and decision making, next generation products and services, computational IE, and complex systems and networks.  The Center’s diverse laboratory spaces and flexible arrangements support a wide range of multi-disciplinary collaboration possibilities.

This Research Center is made possible by a gift to honor the late Abbas M.R.H. Marafi, PhD, by his son, Abdullah Marafi (BSIE '07, MSIE '08). Abdullah wishes to honor the memory of his father who supported him while he attended Purdue University, as well as to thank the many IE faculty members and advisors who impacted him greatly during his time at Purdue.
