The Center for Artificial intelligence and Robotic Excellence in Medicine (CARE) supports Gen-AI and robotics for interventional medicine research across Indiana and beyond. Our mission is to support the unique needs of patients, surgeons and healthcare professionals through AI and robotics. CARE brings together leading researchers in Embodied AI, Field and Frontier Medicine, and Autonomous Diagnostic Clinics.

We build on robust AI and robotics that promote the use of computation and automation to advance operational and clinical efficiency and accuracy while maintaining principles of responsible use of AI, fairness, usable and reliable technologies to improve medicine and population health in general.
